Good day one and all
Well how tough did you find the Red Tee Course yesterday? Harder than you thought if its your first time of playing, by far the harder course out of all on the Men's Card, well it is in my Humble unimportant opinion - so lets see who found it tough and who didn't below.
Winners - Runners-up
This weeks Winners where Phil Mac and Andy Hirst with their 48, just edging out Karl H and Slingers by 1 shot - mainly down to their front 9 of 28, which won it for them Both - Well done to both our winners and Runners up
Nearest the Pin
Our winner this week was Spike who drilled his "9 Iron" under the Tornado to finish just over 3ft away - and then decided to putt like 'Edward Scissorhands' and Miss his 2!!!! Spike does however book his place in the Shootout Final after the Final week of the WL.
2's
A Plethora of 2's this week which only Paid out £3.89 to each player - Highlight 2 of the Weekend was Nutty's 2 on the 16th - Hence him taking Pride of place as the Featured Image this week
Knockouts
Our Finalists are now known in the Wiselow Best Card - and will be contested by Cosmo/ Jay v John F and Tony P - (Victors over Cordwell / Taylor and the Richardsons respectively). The Final will be played this coming Sunday - so Good luck to you all.
Knocking Off
So this coming Sunday sees the Knocking Off begin - as long as you have completed 14 Rounds. For those who this is new to, basically if you have played all 14 rounds, then you can now start to knock off your worst scores - so if one of your lowest scores is 3 and you score 6 points on Sunday, your accumulated score will improve by 3. If you only score 2 points, then you wont improve and that score will be recorded as a Blank week.
The League took a bit of a twist this week with the top 2 opening up a 10 and 8 point Gap back to third place, could that be a significant move for both pairs? Sometimes it isn't what you score each week, its what you have to come off, and some have more than 1 x 0 to drop along with 1 's and 2's - Be an interesting last 5 weeks which will see the silverware distributed.
Have a Good week - See you Sunday as I shall be subbing with Mr Flynn
