Winter League Update - 21-01-24

Well the weather does for us again this weekend, but the decision is always done in the best interest of the course, and the safety of you the Golfer, and the decisions are not always easy to make but 99% of the time they are the correct ones.

So what does the above cancellation mean in respect of the league? Well couple today with the fact the 25th of next month has been given to Boyleys Family for a memorial day, this will leave us with 17 playing weeks, meaning your best 13 scores will contribute towards your final Total - and 'knocking off' will begin Sunday 11th February (as long as we do not lose anymore weeks that is).

Please note that in the event of a tie in points for the overall Winners of the league, there is a system in place to decide this which is basically a count back to your best 12 scores, then 11 etc, until a winner can be found.

February's Fixtures / formats are attached below - Starting on the 4th Feb with S/ford Multiplier from the Red Tees, which are on the Men's Card, and playing to their Indices and not the ones for the White or Yellow Tees as we would normally - Be a interesting test with the 18th being a par 3 and the Stroke 1. The Month will also include American Greensomes and a simple 4BBB medal, with the Final week dedicated to the Memory of Dave Boyle, which I ma hoping to see a lot more lads from the WL supporting - so please put your names down for this, or if you cant play then feel free to donate to the British Heart Foundation on following just giving link.
